After a long career in various important locations, especially in France and Germany, Ghino Poggialini decided to come back to Pienza and to devote himself to his great passion: wines and valued vintage liquors. Thanks to his knowledge and his firmness he began to put together a section of masterpieces that leave you breathless.
Ghino loves his bottles and his collection of products. That’s also the reason why he is to be considered more a collector than a businessman. His wine shop is only know by a few, but those few are great connoisseurs of vine. Because Ghino prefers to sell his masterpieces only to those who are able to interpret and understand them.
There are simple bottles next to others of great value, crazy verticals of Sassicaia and Solaia, but also the great French, from Petrus to Romanée Conti, from Latour to Margaux. There are many large formats exhibited, not only magnum and double magnum however, but above all imperial and beyond, up to 18 liters. To this end stands out that of Saffredi 2000, produced in only 20 specimens. The Tignanello is offered in all sizes, but remains lit by a 5-liter Mouton Rothschild of 1973.
